Assignment: Chinese Empires
Materials: Presentation
Directions: With your tablemates, choose one of the following chinese empires; Sui, Tang, or Song. You and your tablemates will need to build a quick presentation over your chosen Empire (7 slide minimum). Your presentation should include information about politics, innovations, daily life, rise and fall, important leaders, and cultural achievements.

Materials: One Partner; One Sheet of paper; colored pencils and or markers
Directions: Create a newspaper from the time period of either the Tang Dynasty 600 - 900 or the Song Dynasty 950 - 1250. Fold one sheet of paper in half. Use each side of the paper covering the topics of politics, innovations, and daily life.

Directions: Label each of the squares Early Japanese Civilization, Foreign Influences on Japan, The Heian Period, and Korea. Write the main ideas of each topic in the appropriate square. Minimum of 8 ideas for each topic.

Material: Piece of paper and colored pencils
Directions: As an individual recreate chart and complete as shown via hyper-link (5x5 table). On opposite side of paper, create a newspaper advertisement for trade goods that could be found in Southeast Asia (minimum of three items).
