Materials: One sheet of paper, colored pencils.
Directions: Create a flow chart that explains the crusades. Use the titles of each section as your heading. Minimum of five bullet points per section. Bullet points should lead up to the next section. Section headings are Launching the Crusades, Fighting the Crusades, and Effects of the Crusades

Materials: One sheet of paper, colored pencils.
Directions: Create an advertisement for products to be sold at a medieval town trade fair. Minimal writing, minimum of three products featured.

Assignment: Art and Culture of Middle Ages
Materials: New document within your Middle Ages Folder
Directions: As you read through Ch. 14 Section 3 complete the Taking Notes portion of your study guide for section 3. Assignment should be a new document within your Middle Ages folder titled Art and Culture of Middle Ages. Minimum of five bullet points for each topic.

Assignment: Hundred Years War/Coat of Arms
Materials: One sheet of paper, colored pencils
Directions: Create a 2 x 6 chart with the heading The Hundred Years' War. The left side boxes should be labeled Purpose/English Advantage/French Advantage/Key Battles/Key English Leaders/Key French Leaders. The right side should be filled with information pertaining to each topic from the left side of your chart. You will need a minimum of 3 bullet points for each box. On the back side of your paper you are to create your own coat of arms. During the Middle Ages symbolism was very important. Research various coats of arms from the Middle Ages for examples. Create your own personal coats of arms, using symbols that you feel represent you. Below your coat of arms write a few sentences explaining what your symbols mean.
If you miss the film you will need to complete the Ch. 14 Review. Pages 426 - 427, #'s 1-13 All Parts.
